Lesh Dewika is active in writing fiction since kid and won several Writing Scientific Competitions till the national level when she was a student majoring in English Literature at Ahmad Dahlan University Yogyakarta. Her 1st book was published in 2017 titled, "Creative Drawing & Writing Short Stories". “The Secret of Flight Attendant” (2018) and “Derap Langkah Sang Generasi (The Footsteps of the Generation) 2019” are her published books as a freelance editor In 2020, she wrote her first illustrated novel, titled Benang Merah (2020). Continuing by her 2nd novel “Labirin Ungu” (2021). In 2022 she wrote short story anthology "SENYUM" (2022), “The Poetry Anthology of 22 Indonesian Women - Bulan Bung Karno ( 2022)”, Anthology of Kepak Srikandi Poetry (2022), and her first Poem Collection “Memento (2022)”. She is also one of the founders of the Literacy Ngulik Community. Lesh Dewika is also an artist since 2009 and has exhibited her artworks nationally and internationally since 2015. She is also an English and art (painting & drawing) tutor and also active as Art Therapist for special needs children and teenagers. Then, she started to be a Creative Head at VIBE Center Indonesia, and a Consultant for Social Development Project Design & Literacy based in Lombok, NTB in 2021.

Why do we need art and writing as therapy? Because nowadays, anyone can have mental health problems because of the high pressures in life. Art and writing therapy can be categorized as an activity that applies an approach to mental health that generally aims to make us feel relaxed and can relieve stress. Some art therapy activities can be done through drawing, painting, music, making sculptures, etc and the activities for example are making doodles, simple pictures, and paint using pencils, pens, watercolors, acrylic paints, or oil paints on paper, cloth, canvas, or any media. While writing therapy can be done by writing daily journals, poetry, short stories, novels, articles, song lyrics, and others. This art & writing therapy will make us more relaxed and in the end, can make us more focused and calm. The art and writing therapy can be done individually or in groups.
