SPEAKER SESSIONS

15 September 2022 | 14:30 - 15:00 | Bahasa | Cultural Heritage Virtual Learning for Young People

Many young people are not familiar with cultural and historical tourism. In fact, a great nation is a nation that can preserve its culture. Moreover, there are many cultural artifacts and national heritage that are hundreds of years old in Indonesia, which are now experiencing limitations such as weathering and fragility, so it is necessary to physically limit tourist visits. Therefore, it is necessary to innovate cultural tourism that is full of creativity by utilizing technology. One of them is presenting virtual learning on several cultural tourism objects in Indonesia. The material presented this time discusses several forms of virtual tours that describe cultural tourism objects in Indonesia and the world. In the realm of communication science, the phenomenon of presenting real tourism objects in virtual form can be explained through The Construction of Social Reality Theory which was coined by Peter Burger and Thomas Luckmann (1966).
